Dungeons & Dragons is all the rage right now! Come learn how to play this fun adventure game at The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop, led by Assistant Store Manager and Youth Advisory Coordinator Ali.
D&D is a collaborative-style game where a team of adventurers (known as a party) enter a make-believe world to fight imaginary foes. The ultimate goal is to triumph as a group! This immersive game not only reinforces social skills and builds confidence but also provides opportunities for players to learn how to create stories and characters. Most of all, it's an exciting experience and a fun, screen-free way to socialize!
When: Friday nights in October from 5pm-7pm. Dates are October 7, 14, 21, and 28. Players are strongly encouraged to attend each session, as the campaign will be ongoing for all four weeks. The adventure won't be complete until the final session concludes!
This group is for players ages 12-17 and with little or no experience playing D&D. Players can bring their own level 1 character, or we will have pre-built characters ready to choose from on the first session. As a beginner campaign, please don't bring characters above level 1.
