Certified therapy dog, Archie, and his owner, Jim, are visiting The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop for Saturday Storytime! Archie is calm and gentle, and loves kids just as much as he loves listening to stories.
Archie and Jim are a registered therapy dog team and are certified members of Alliance of Therapy Dogs National Registry.
They've been doing this work on a volunteer basis for 9 years in places like Alta Vita Memory Care Center in Longmont, CU, Boulder Valley Schools and the YMCA of the Rockies, Red Cross during the 2013 flood aftermath and the King Soopers mass shooting in Boulder, where they have performed a myriad of tasks and exercises with people from 5 to 95.
