Andrea Wang is an award-winning author of picture books and middle grade novels. Her picture book Watercress received the Caldecott Medal, a Newbery Honor, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature, a New England Book Award, and a Boston Globe—Horn Book Honor, among others. She’s also the author of the APALA Honor-winning The Nian Monster, the Sakura Medal and Freeman Book Award Honor-winning Magic Ramen: The Story of Momofuku Ando, and Luli and the Language of Tea, which received starred reviews. Her CALA Honor-winning middle grade novel The Many Meanings of Meilan was a 2021 New York Times Best Children’s Book.
