I am a former teacher and author of over 50 fiction and nonfiction books for children (and their adults). My books showcase our amazing planet and all its biodiversity, and encourage kids to unplug, explore, and use their imagination. I want to prompt kids to think about the world we live in – and to be as amazed as I am. I always look forward to connecting with students and teachers through school visits that spark curiosity and engage students in learning.
